Long time since I posted some shit on this blog, so ya. Ok first off, Taxis. If i remember correctly, it was last Thursday when I was on the way to training at Pocket. I got into a cab that was just passing by the lane after my house and I got into it cos I was running late. Apparently, this cab driver loves to horn at people and cars. Right at the first juntion that we were at, he horned at a car cos it didnt turn fast enough. Like hello? The damn main road is jam packed with speeding cars so if the car in front wont turn ealier, it probably means it isnt safe? And so after that episode, the grumpy old man continued on the journey and just as we passed Siglap Centre, chapter 2 came. An elderly man was crossing the road about 100 metres infront and he reached the middle of the two way road when the taxi was about 50 metres away and the driver horned again. Well, if you didnt know mr grumpy taxi driver, you could have scared that poor old man for all you know. And then chapter 3. I had

whatever. Thursday's practice with Amplify was good. Unexpectedly good, and I must say, I really enjoyed myself. Managed to pick up a few tips and tricks about playing my electric and my amp settings. The overall sound is much fuller now, and much more pleasing to listen to. But the thing that I really enjoyed was the rate at which we learnt the songs. Completing 6 songs in 2 hours is something that I hadn't expected at all. So yeah. Now onto Friday. Spent the afternoon out collecting my lost t shirts form the police log base, then headed for lunch at Chinese Swimmin Club. In the evening was the usual friday growth. This week was done by Archbishop Nicholas Chia, and his talk dragged on for half an hour longer than usual. Haha. The funny part abt the night was the visualiser burning. Grades are out. I could say I'm contented with it. Though they aren't exactly fantastic. So anyway here they are.. Clearing up my room. I need to get rid of all the stupid things that just sit there and occupy space, without even being used at all. Then I need to squeeze everything into as small a shelf I can find so I can have more space to live in. Which in other words, means that I can get my long awaited Marshall amp and have enough room to fit it snugly into the corner. Anyway, my Macbook's coming tomorrow afternoon. I'm not as excited about it as I should be. Not sure why though. It feels so...mundane? Hah. Maybe the feeling will kick in when I actually get my hands on it. Its gonna be running on two operating systems, so I can use Windows when I feel like and Mac OS when I want to. Happy days mate. Ok on to other things. Lately I've been thinking about how life has changed. Not just mine, but most of the guys that I know, friends and family. Sometimes I just wonder if people actually try too hard just to fit into a group that they want to be in. It just makes them somebody else.

The story goes like this. I went for a short shopping spree at the factory outlet next to the ferry terminal at Bintan. The stuff there are super cheap. So anyway I bought a Stuart Oliver t-shirt, a Timberland shirt and some brandless brown polo shirt. All for 35 bucks, which is one heck of a bargain. And then the usual 45 minute ferry ride back to Singapore, and by that time, I had decided to change out of my black Ashworth polo tee into the Stuart Oliver t-shirt. Ok if by now you still don't know that the story is about my t-shirts, I'm telling you it is. Alright back to it. So I had put the plastic bag of shirts in between my mum and my cousin during the ride back on the ferry and as we got off, I suppose one of them took the plastic bag down with them. another shot by me. Melbourne. Ok so yesterday kena called up early in the morning by samuel to go play soccer with Wayne, Lionel and the rest of that bunch. Took a cab down, played, scored 2 goals, got a pulled hamstring which then resulted in me not being able to play for SLK today against YV United. I was dying to play but all cos of this stupid injury. Fuck. Don't know how the heck I'm gonna survive in Bintan. I probably wont be able to do alot of things. Damn. But I'm sure I'm gonna drive the buggy. Heh. Alright anyway back to Saturday. Julian, Maddie, Val and Nick came over to jam and write songs and I must commend these guys on doing an absolutely fantastic job. 2 songs officially ready to to be used for PnW and 1 more about 3/4 done. lyrics was the main problem. Was also listening to some of the tracks that my dad recorded and when i heard this track that was mainly guitar solos, I couldnt believe I was the one who played it cos it wasnt the way I usually play.

Exams are over. Holidays now. Haha. Dont really know what my plans are though. I thing's for sure and that is I'm not gonna work. Oh well, I dont really have much to blog about too. Haha. Oh I just remembered. How the heck Ryan Star got eliminated from Supernova, I don't know. Storm should have gone out. Dang. But there's still Toby to save it all. Haha.
