Sometimes school just aint about the subjects you learn. Its more about the experiences that you live to go through. Friendships. Maybe thats the most important lesson school has taught thus far. I mean you're bound to get some stick now and then when things dont exactly go your way. Ups and downs are part and parcel of life. Lately, alot of people been having a torrid time with friends, I would say. Some close to me, some not as, but all the same. Personally, I treasure friendships alot and I believe friends are God's great gift to us. They help us to learn and grow and we reciprocate. I'm utterly grateful for the people I've known and those that I've gotten to know this year. So here's a small shout out to the people that make life meaningful. T02: Its been a great semester with you guys and I'm grateful for the experiences I've been through with you guys. EPL is starting. Haha. The love is coming back. Sweeter than before. Owen Hargreaves to Man United and there go the rich kids of Chelsea, crying over their lost crown. Bargain buy of the season has gotta be Bellamy. 6 million pounds = Bellamy 35 million pounds = Shevchenko I reckon Bellamy will do better than Shevchenko. war memorial. another of my works. Went out with Daryl on Saturday to take photos in town. got a few really great shots, but what we needed most was a tripod. Haha. Ok anyway, that was Saturday. Onto Wednesday. Had a ministry day outing sorta, so the choir and band went bowling at Chinese Swimming Club. Had a really great time. I got andrew influenced. Heh. Now he wants to get a bowling ball. So lunch afterwards and then everybody left for home. Andrew and Julian stayed to bowl a few more games then they follow my family back to my house and stayed for dinner. After dinner, i felt, was the best time of the day. We began writing praise and worship songs with my dad. In just 2 hours, we came up with 3 songs bar majority of the words. But the arrangement of the songs were settled. Only by God's grace. Two of the songs are more contemporary praise and stuff while the last one is a real funky one. With lots of guitar riffs. Haha. So for the night,I came up with the basic chord arrangem
yin and yang . Match today was a blast. Assisted josh for the first goal with a chip that caught the defence off guard. Sent a scorcher right onto the right hand post and a goal from a free kick. Beckham-esque. Haha. All these with the new Predator Absolute. Though i got a friggin big blister on my right heel, I think its worth it. Drawing 3-3 with Sofeene isnt very easy you know. Heh. Anyway I'm tired. Please pray that I can survive in shoes for presentation and roll off tmr. out.
presentation was the most stressful ive been so far this year. such a solemn lesson made possible only by her. Darn. I talked too slowly plus there was this 5 second period where my mind went blank. The last thing you want happening to you during a presentation. Blah. Ok enough about this. After school went lunch at Pastamania then to Coffee Bean for drinks. Reached home dead tired, only to be "motivated" to follow my dad and bro out to queensway. Turns out pretty darn good in fact. Heh. When I least expect it, I get a new pair of predators in my hands. Didnt buy from Weston cos it was too ex. $224 was the cheapest they could go. So off i went to Salam and Sons. Haha. Never heard of them before but...I got my predators for a neat price of $209. Not bad for an hour's work. Heh. Ok band prac now. out.
